Can crocheting the Great Barrier Reef help save it? Two Austrialian sisters think so. Margaret Wertheim is a scientist. Christine Wertheim is an artist. The sisters have collaborated on a project (referred to as the environmental version of the AIDS Quilt) to raise awareness about how global warming is destroying the Great Barrier Reef.
